Pathway to Innovation: Crafting Growth and Ingenuity.
My portfolio represents a progressive journey of learning, crafting, growth and ingenuity. Each project has served as a vital building block leading up to the culmination of my skills and expertise in the creation of the Eco-Stream Turbine.
In my first year, the creation of the Power Glove introduced me to the world of electronics, coding, and prototype development. This foundational project laid the groundwork for my understanding of teamwork, coding logic, and the iterative process of product development.
The second year was a transformative phase of skill development. Through visual communication, SolidWorks designing, and an exploration of design history, I honed my ability to translate ideas into visual concepts. Acquiring insights into marketing, accounting, and universal design enriched my perspective on the multifaceted nature of successful product design.
In my third year, I delved into complex projects. Collaborating with the ESB, I tackled the challenge of making demand response understandable to the public. This experience refined my research, problem-solving, and user-centric thinking. Additionally, an internship with AIB's UX/UI design team immersed me in real-world application of design principles and collaborative teamwork.
The final year marked the realization of my journey. Crafting a collapsible air-fryer showcased my advanced design and engineering skills. However, the pinnacle was the Eco-Stream Turbine, the crowning achievement. Fusing my proficiency in electronics, coding, user-centered design, and sustainability, this project embodies my holistic growth and capability to address pressing environmental concerns.
Each project represents a step forward, building upon the lessons and skills of the previous one. Collectively, they illustrate my evolution from a novice to a seasoned designer, ready to tackle the challenges of our world through innovative and impactful creations like the Eco-Stream Turbine.
